Who Comes First

Leonard's relationship with his pregnant fiancée Kemi is tested when his mother Helen arrives unannounced and declares Kemi unfit. Who Comes First unfolds with Helen taking over the household, secretly inviting another woman, Nkechi, to dinner in hopes of redirecting her son's affections. Kemi discovers the scheme and retaliates by blocking the family car and hiding the keys, while Leonard confides in his friend Tola, torn between his mother's authority and his love for Kemi. Devastated by the manipulation, Helen and Leonard rush to Kemi to apologize, and after learning the full truth, Kemi forgives Helen, recognizing they were all victims of Bubemi's deceit. The family reconciles, and the film ends with a joyful traditional wedding ceremony.
