Lizzy Akemu

EARLY LIFE

Lizzy Akemu was born on July 12, 1978, in Lagos State, Nigeria. She hails from Uvwie Local Government Area in Delta State. She attended OLHS for her education

Lizzy’s love for dance and drama led her to join the drama group "Spirit of David" in 2009, where she remains a member. She officially started her acting career in 2017. Over the years, she has worked with notable directors and producers, featuring in several TV, film, and stage productions. Her works include, Tinsel, Eve, Assistant Madams, Over the Fence, Jennifer's Diary, Flatmates, and The Butcher and the Bridge. Outside of acting, she has worked as a Logistics Officer for Shandstachle Nigeria Ltd and as an Office Admin for Skarf Ltd.

PERSONAL LIFE

Lizzy is a born-again Christian who describes herself as being "on fire for Christ" [citation:3]. She is widely travelled and enjoys reading, swimming, dancing, travelling, and listening to music in her free time. She speaks English, Pidgin, and a little French

Lizzy is a member of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) and NAPTAP. She describes herself as a great team player who is highly motivated and enjoys her craft.
