Storyline

Robi Akech, a gifted young performer from the rural town of Migori, receives a life-changing opportunity: a coveted acting residency in Nairobi. Coincidentally, the acceptance arrives on the exact same day her local boyfriend proposes to her. Choosing her ambitions over a confined rural life, Robi rejects the proposal and flees to the capital city. Navigating the highly demanding entertainment scene under a ruthless mentor, she leans heavily on her "tribe"—her entrepreneurial cousin Alma and a fierce new friend, Achie. Together, the trio must protect each other as they confront love, intense financial strain, betrayal, and the harsh realities of independent adulthood in Nairobi.
