Storyline
"Trust Issues" follows Mama Cecilia, who visits to tend to her pregnant daughter Agatha but harbors intense distrust toward Agatha's husband, suspecting him of infidelity. Her baseless accusations erode Agatha's trust, leading to constant questioning and suspicion. The husband, frustrated, demands Cecilia leave, but Agatha refuses, believing he's hiding affairs. Cecilia escalates by accusing his friend Charles of procuring women and urges Agatha to demand more money—like 100 million—to deplete his funds for cheating. Agatha complies, even blocking his work trips. When the husband brings pepper soup, Cecilia claims it's poisoned by his mistresses, and Agatha believes her without proof. Cecilia secretly invites her son Chike to plant a hidden camera in the husband's bathroom to catch him calling lovers, but he discovers it instead, exposing their scheme. The film shows how unfounded paranoia destroys relationships, culminating in failed attempts to prove guilt.
