Storyline
In "The Silent Housemaid", Kendra and Madam B mistreat their maid Flora, throwing water on her and firing her. Flora struggles to survive. Years later, another maid, Kate, suffers the same abuse. Madam B wrongly accuses Kate of stealing and humiliates her by stripping her uniform. Kate leaves, becomes a nurse, and meets Andrew, the family's son. They fall in love. When Andrew brings Kate home, Madam B and Kendra recognize her and reject her as a "thief" and "low-life". Andrew stands by Kate. Then Andrew collapses and needs a kidney transplant. An anonymous donor saves him. Dr. Toby later reveals Kate was the donor. Madam B and Kendra break down in tears, fall to their knees, and beg for forgiveness. Kate forgives them. "The Silent Housemaid" shows that love and mercy can heal even deep wounds from the past.
