Sibe Episode 2 The Carpenter

Benzima's casual boast about his childhood friend, a carpenter who had just visited the neighborhood in an expensive car, plants a seed in Sibe's imagination. Eager to prove herself, she accepts every chore, and when the wealthy Ferrari commissions a custom bed, she labors over it until it is finished with a white design and a matching stool, convinced that this piece will mark her arrival. Ferrari, however, inspects the bed with a sneer, calling it a joke and ridiculing her craftsmanship in front of the shop, and her proud response turns into a shouting match that reveals his rage. That brutality is not confined to insults; when a debtor pleads for more time to pay what he owes, Ferrari grants him two weeks but warns his boys to cut off the debtor's thumb if he fails. He then turns on his own workers, accusing them of stealing from him, and commands that a hand be taken from them; a woman rushes in to beg for mercy, but her pleas are ignored as the beating and mutilation proceed. Sibe watches it all, unable to look away, and sees the blood that keeps Ferrari's empire running. The violence shakes her, forcing her to weigh her dream of escaping poverty against the cruel reality of the man she must work for.
