Storyline
"My Alien Lover" begins with a Nigerian girl watching a Korean drama when lightning strikes her laptop, pulling her into a vivid fantasy. She shifts identities, eventually becoming Abeni, a village maid. A handsome Korean Prince, Han San, visits her town. While the arrogant Princess Tiaraoluwa tries to win his heart, the Prince is drawn to Abeni’s kindness. Jealousy drives the Princess to frame Abeni for stealing a royal crown. Abeni is jailed and sentenced to death. At the last second, Prince Han San bursts in, defeats the guards, and saves her. In the King’s court, he rejects the Princess’s hand in marriage, declaring his love for the maid instead. As they share a passionate kiss, the dream shatters. The girl wakes up screaming, trying to explain her epic adventure to skeptical friends who think she is crazy. This film blends Nigerian culture with K-drama romance, exploring love and imagination in a fun, magical way.
