Love Unplanned

In Love Unplanned, Adetola arrives late for a job interview at Thrive after her manipulative ex-boyfriend sabotages her morning. The stern hiring manager Bianga rejects her coldly. Waiting outside, she meets Bianca, a charismatic colleague who comforts her with hilarious embarrassing stories and convinces her to hand over her application file for a second chance. Meanwhile, Adetola's husband Amir thrives at his real estate firm under a demanding older female boss who showers him with gifts, pet names, and late-night calls. This sparks Adetola's insecurities from her past relationship. Bianca handles her own workplace dynamics, fending off a flirtatious coworker while receiving mysterious romantic gifts from an admirer known as Mr. Nigeria. Adetola confronts Amir about his boss's inappropriate intimacy. She demands he set boundaries or quit. He refuses, insisting the job is his lifelong dream and the boss is only a mentor. Their arguments grow vicious. Adetola declares she needs a break and moves out to stay with her mother abroad, leaving their daughter Zara with her grandmother. At the same time, Bianca's suitor dramatically breaks into her home to confess his love. A fast courtship peaks during a Monopoly game where he proposes marriage. Bianca accepts, but the joy is complicated when her estranged best friend Elita appears. Elita accuses Bianca of stealing her ex-husband, the very man who just proposed. Adetola returns to the office only to resign abruptly, shocking Bianca who learns of the separation and Adetola's plan to relocate to Abuja. A heated phone call ends with Adetola blocking Bianca. Amir confides in Adetola's friend at a bar about his humble beginnings and relentless ambition. He begs Adetola to return, but she insists the break is necessary until he chooses her unequivocally. Bianca faces Elita's venomous confrontation, defending her right to love without guilt.
