Storyline

In the movie Evi, the main character is Evi-Oghene Donalds, played by Uyoyou Adia. She is a gifted but proud Afrobeats star who thinks she has it all. But her world falls apart when her record label ends her contract suddenly, with no money given to her. This leaves her with nothing – no fame, no cash, just hard times. She has to face the ugly parts of the music industry, like unfair deals and pressure on women artists. Her best friend stands by her side, giving support through the pain. Then, she teams up with a manager who has his own troubles, maybe from past mistakes. Together, they work to rebuild her career step by step. Evi learns about strength and finding herself again after big loss.
