Storyline
Chloe auditions on a televised singing contest and is turned away by the judges. She tells the crew this is only the beginning. Her father Popsi presses her to join his law firm but she chooses music. Isioma argues with her father and brother over her own desire to sing. Isioma's longtime friend Kenny watches as she meets Douglas and feels jealousy rise. Chloe performs a duet with Joy at a local club and the crowd responds. Record executive Puffy T notices and invites her to the studio. She records a heartfelt single and a deal seems close. Nate meets Douglas at a bar and they flirt before Chloe collapses on stage and a doctor tells her she has days left after an eight year lymphoma battle. Later Chloe's friends gather at her bedside and read the bucket list she wrote years earlier. Kenny arranges a video call with her idol Tuface and they sing a duet that leaves Chloe smiling. The group laughs as they plan a stylish send off with balloons flowers and candles. Chloe and Kenny confess their deep romantic love and promise to face the end together with celebration. Chloe checks each item, declares her love, sees her best friend, and meets death in style. She passes away surrounded by family and friends. Afterward a memorial service fills the chapel with candles and a portrait of Chloe. A grieving friend sits at a laptop and opens the bucket list document. The friend ticks the remaining items, finds Auntie Blessing a man, and ensures her last sight is her love. She has her best friend beside her and meets death in style. Through tears the friend whispers a final tribute Chloe you are my true friend and my courage I love you and I am sorry rest in peace.
