Campus Chronicles S1E7 is the season’s darkest turn. Kevwe is savagely beaten and kidnapped by thugs, then dumped half-dead in a ditch. Bella finds and nurses him, but he shuts her out. Jonathan returns home and refuses his father Honorable Douglas’s demand to hide in London until elections, insisting on staying for his friend. In a gut-punch twist, shadowy kingpin "The Godfather" reveals to Kevwe that he is Douglas’s abandoned illegitimate son and offers him everything money, power, status if Kevwe murders his own father. Kevwe accepts. Overnight he becomes unrecognisable: luxury SUV, designer wardrobe, plush apartment. He lies to shocked Amira about foreign money from his mother, then tries to force-kiss her; she rejects him. Friends Wiser, Bella, Soma, and Amira track him down, horrified by his arrogance. At his extravagant pool mansion birthday party, Kevwe mocks his old crew, tossing stacks of cash at them like trash to buy silence. Alone with Amira, he turns aggressive, trying to force himself on her while hallucinating the Godfather’s voice. A sudden, violent headache drops him writhing in pain, leaving Amira traumatised. The friend group splinters irreparably as Kevwe fully embraces the devil’s bargain and spirals into darkness.
