Campus Chronicles Season 1 Episode 8, the finale, brings all the secrets out. Jonathan arrives at university angry to share a room with poor but smart Kevwe. They fight immediately. Amirah is dropped by her strict mother Lydia but her roommates hate her—they hide charms and dead animals under her bed and call her a witch to chase her away. Jonathan falls in love with Amirah and confesses but she rejects him, saying she wants only friendship. Somma finds out a big secret about Kevwe and Jonathan and uses it to force Kevwe to date her. Honorable Douglas, Jonathan's father, is running for governor but he is very wicked he once threatened Kevwe and his mother Lydia and paid them to disappear. He sends boys to beat Kevwe. Solomon, Douglas's enemy, takes Kevwe, trains him to shoot guns, and orders him to kill his own father. Kevwe shoots at a car thinking Douglas is inside, but it is Jonathan. The bullet only wounds Jonathan he survives. The biggest shock comes when Lydia enters Douglas's house angry and tells everything: she and Douglas used to steal money together, she worked as maid to help him marry rich Adele, then he left her. Kevwe is Douglas's real son Jonathan's half-brother. Douglas is broken knowing his son tried to kill him, quits the governor race. He sends Kevwe 20 million naira to say sorry but Kevwe refuses. Jonathan recovers, thanks Kevwe for not killing him, and accepts they are brothers. The friends try to heal, but Douglas's power is finished. Blood connects them, but the pain stays deep.
