EARLY LIFE

Matilda Gogo Lambert was born on April 13 in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria, and is from the Andoni area. She attended Police Children Primary School and Federal Government Girls' College, Abuloma, in Port Harcourt for her secondary education. She pursued higher education at the University of Abuja, earning a bachelor's degree in Philosophy, followed by a master's degree in Socio-Political Philosophy from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. She began acting while in her second year at university.

CAREER

Matilda Lambert made her acting debut in the film The Celebrities alongside Mike Ezuruonye, a role that brought her initial prominence and led to leading parts in Nollywood productions. She has starred in and produced several films, including the notable Unroyal (2020), in which she played Princess Boma. The movie premiered in cinemas in March 2020 and was released on Netflix in August 2020. It won awards for Best Use of Costume and Best Sound at the 2020 Best of Nollywood Awards.
