EARLY LIFE

Jeiel Abel Damina was born on 4 September 2002 in Kaduna State, Nigeria, to Pastor (Reverend Doctor) Abel Damina and Rachel Damina. Her father is the founder and CEO of KLN TV and pastor of Power City International Church (headquartered in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State). She is the youngest of three sisters; her older siblings are Jemima Damina and Jesimiel Damina. She grew up in a creative and faith-oriented household. The family later had connections to Uyo. For her secondary education, she attended schools including Bright Stars Model Secondary School and completed high school at The Geneva School. She then pursued higher education in the United States.

CAREER

Jeiel is a multi-talented entertainer who works across acting, music, writing, and production. Alongside her sisters Jemima (director/producer) and Jesimiel (screenwriter/animator), she co-founded Neptune3 Studios, a creative media company focused on youth-oriented storytelling and broader representation of young Nigerian experiences. She is best known for starring as Olive in the popular YouTube web series Best Friends In The World, produced by Neptune3 Studios. The series explores friendship, school life, and personal challenges and has helped elevate the sisters’ profiles. As a singer, she has released solo tracks including Warm Christmas, The Final Word, and What Best Friend Do. With her sisters, she forms the music group Triple J Plus (or Triple J), which has released songs such as Like Lightning, The Only Way, This Is Forever, From Your Heart, and Undefeatable (available on platforms like Spotify and Apple Music). She is a passionate writer and owns a blog called Jeiel’s World, where she shares stories and poems. She also works as a scriptwriter for Neptune3 projects. In addition, she is active as a content creator and fashion model/influencer with a large following, particularly on Instagram. Her education in Creative Writing at Full Sail University directly supports her work in storytelling, acting, and production.

PERSONAL LIFE

Jeiel Damina is single and keeps her romantic life private. Rumors once linked her to actor Emmanuel Esiet (her on-screen love interest in Best Friends In The World), but both clarified they are only friends. She is a Christian and maintains close bonds with her sisters, with whom she collaborates extensively in creative projects. She currently resides in Lagos, Nigeria. She is also a fashion enthusiast who frequently shares style content.

Jeiel Damina, together with her sisters, represents a new wave of young Nigerian creatives building independent content through digital platforms and original web series. Neptune3 Studios has produced multiple music videos and web series aimed at relatable teen and young adult audiences.
