EARLY LIFE
Gentle Jack was born on 20 November 1970 in Rivers State, Nigeria. He grew up in the South-South region and developed an interest in acting, eventually becoming one of the recognizable faces in the Nigerian film industry during the late 1990s and early 2000s.
CAREER
Gentle Jack is a veteran Nollywood actor famous for playing rugged, no-nonsense, and antagonistic characters. He rose to prominence in the late 1990s and early 2000s and has featured in numerous classic and contemporary Nollywood movies. He is particularly known for his deep voice, strong screen presence, and ability to portray intimidating and authoritative roles. He continues to act in both English and indigenous language films. He played the title character in the film Vuga, listed in August 2018 as one of the ten most memorable Nigerian film characters of the 90s and 2000s by the magazine Pulse.
