Biography
EARLY LIFE
Juliet Njemanze was born in Imo State, southeastern Nigeria, and raised in Kano State in the north. She is the first child and the only girl among four siblings in a Christian family. Her parents are Mr. and Mrs. Njemanze. She attended primary and secondary schools in Kano State. She later obtained a National Diploma from Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic in Zaria, Kaduna State, and went on to study Public Administration at the National Open University. She has also been linked to Imo State University through student leadership (Lawsa President). Growing up, she experienced a traumatic childhood that she has later spoken about publicly. Her mother strongly encouraged her interest in acting, while her father was initially more reserved about the career path.
CAREER
Juliet Njemanze is a Nollywood actress, entrepreneur, model, and influencer. She began acting around 2012–2013 after being introduced to a director through a friend at an AGN chapter event in Kano. She took the craft more seriously after working on Obi Emelonye’s Calabash. She has appeared in numerous films and is known for versatile roles, including lead parts and more challenging characters. Notable credits include Tears in My Heart, Calabash, My Regret, Ben From Downstairs (as Muna), Love Thy Neighbour, Silent Pain (where she portrayed a physically challenged character), African Gods (as Princess Ulimma), No Better, No Worse (as Nneoma), Baby’s Day Out (as Blessing), Bitter Honey (as Abigail), Game of Fate (as Grace), Midnight Sunshine (as Jessica), Beyond Beauty (as Lisa), The Rebirth of Love (as Steller), Private Affair, A Successful Woman (as Maria), Ezinwa, Behold, In Due Time, and others. In 2022, she won the Best of Nollywood (BON) Award for Revelation of the Year. Beyond acting, she is the CEO of KristaluxeHair (also referred to as Kristaluxe Hair), a business dealing in hair extensions and wigs. She has also worked as a TV host and model.
