With Love Hazel

Hazel, the main character in "With Love Hazel," starts off bombing a job interview with Madam Eno by insulting her without meaning to. She's broke, jobless, and shares a place with her pal Simi, who is tired of Hazel's hookups and lack of rent money. Simi tells her to shape up or ship out. Hazel lies her way back into Madam Eno's good books by saying her dad died, and gets a gig as PA to the CEO of CHAM Services. That CEO is Omari, Madam Eno's son – a hot, serious widower with a daughter named Soraya. At work, Hazel deals with tough manager Funmi and feels the pull toward Omari, but he stays cool at first. Things mix when Hazel drops files at his home and bonds with rude Soraya over her mom's death. Hazel tells the girl to talk to her dad about grief. Omari hears this and warms up to Hazel. Trouble hits when Omari meets Alex, his old buddy – who turns out to be Hazel's ex she ditched at the altar. Alex badmouths her, saying she's trouble. Omari confronts Hazel, who admits she cheated to end it because she felt bad about herself. He says keep it pro to protect his kid. But they can't fight the attraction. Omari says sorry for judging, takes her to breakfast, and they start a romance, even sleeping together. Hazel thinks life is good now with job and love. Then the big shock: Hazel shows up at Omari's for a surprise date. Soraya lets her in, says dad's out. But Alex walks out from inside, looking too cozy. Hazel is stunned as it ends on a cliffhanger. The movie mixes romance, drama, and surprises in everyday life struggles.
