What Love Leaves Behind

This movie tells a dark story of cheating and revenge. Dave thinks his life is perfect with wife Chika, who is pregnant. But his partner Terry says he slept with Chika before the wedding and during a trip. He claims the baby is his because Dave has low sperm count and can't have kids. "What Love Leaves Behind" shows Terry stalking Chika at her shop and home, bringing gifts and threatening to tell everyone. Chika confesses to her sister Ogechi that it was a drunk mistake she regrets. Dave, still clueless, gives Chika a big house as anniversary gift, but Terry watches jealously. Things get worse when Terry fights at the gate, yelling about Dave's impotence and demanding DNA test. Dave agrees to shut him up. They get three tests from different places, all saying Dave is the father. Terry is shocked and humiliated. Dave fires him from the company and kicks him out of their lives. Chika feels safe, thinking her secret is gone. But at night, Dave turns cold. He admits Terry was right – he knows he can't father kids, so he faked the DNA results to avoid shame. He saved Chika from public disgrace but won't forgive her. He says the marriage is fake now; she must stay for the child's sake and appearances, but he won't love or touch her again. The baby is like his property. Chika is trapped in a loveless home, losing her husband's heart forever. The film ends on her regret, showing what love leaves behind: pain and control.
