Storyline
In Unspoken Scars, Kunle pitches the Own Your Glow campaign to Inyobong Williams at her company and she approves it, asking him to handle final edits. Their work connection quickly becomes personal and Kunle sees Inyobong, also called Enny, swing between affection and sharp rage. She publicly humiliates a waiter over a wrong drink order and twists the moment into an attack on Nigerian men. Kunle's friends Tee and Jerry warn him about her volatility but he stays, drawn to moments where she admits she survives by always being the strong one. They move into her house and Kunle pays half the remaining balance hoping for equity, yet she calls his contribution paltry and refuses to put his name on the deed. Later Kunle's boss suspends him for three months without pay citing declining performance. Inyobong mocks his suspension and declares her money is hers alone. Kunle seeks refuge with Tee and Jerry and his ex-girlfriend Essie, who urges him to confront the toxicity. Inyobong intensifies by locking him out of the house, accusing him of cheating with his colleague Tina, and physically assaulting Tina during a work session. She then weaponizes intimacy by threatening to sleep with another man while claiming she is ovulating. Kunle tries to set boundaries and suggests therapy but she ridicules him. He finally declares he wants a divorce and she announces a pregnancy as pressure. He coldly demands an abortion, calls her narcissistic and unfit to raise a child, and walks out. A family intervention convenes led by Inyobong's aunt Ota Danjuma. The aunt dissects Inyobong's pattern of becoming the very man she hates, her abusive father, and warns she will die lonely if she does not heal. Inyobong is shaken but defiant and agrees to the divorce. Kunle, composed, offers to establish a trust fund for the child if she proceeds with the pregnancy, insisting he wants nothing from her, not even her shadow.
