After a car accident leaves Felix paralyzed and wheelchair bound his marriage to Kayla fractures into daily warfare. The next morning Kayla visits Oscar studio one last time pleading for him to tell Felix the truth. Oscar initially cynical agrees to mediate. Meanwhile Felix sober and shattered seeks out Oscar at his apartment. Their raw exchange forces Felix to confront his own harshness and Oscar reveals the painting title The Chosen and confirms Kayla fidelity challenging Felix to value what he nearly destroyed. Felix returns home and offers a genuine sustained apology. Kayla accepts his apology and they start the work of rebuilding trust. Oscar uses his company Heritage to hire felix.
