Storyline

"Table For One" follows Ifeoma and Chioma, roommates and struggling content creators. The tale starts in an office where Ifeoma is late for a job interview because Chioma didn't wake her. They fight, showing their rivalry. Back home, they try to make videos but fail due to anger. The landlord demands rent and threatens to kick them out. Jide, a friend, woos Ifeoma but she thinks he's a player; Chioma flirts with him. Things get worse when Ifeoma learns her mom had a stroke and needs costly surgery. Jide tells her about the job opening and urges her to apply. Chioma hears this and also goes for the interview. Both shine in talks with the CEO, using smart answers on work skills. At home, Ifeoma begs Chioma to quit for her mom's sake, but Chioma refuses, wanting the good pay and perks. In the end, the CEO finds out they are friends who fought before and disqualifies both for not handling issues well. They come home to find the door locked by the landlord – now homeless. Jide gives them cash to help. Later, Ifeoma works at a dry cleaner. Chioma shows up rich, saying she got a Canada job with a big client. She gives Ifeoma the apartment key, as Jide paid rent, and admits she helped with Ifeoma's writing work secretly. They make up, seeing friendship matters more than jobs. Jide turns out to be kind, not bad. The movie ends on hope and fixing ties.
