Yomi gripes to his friend about Tenny's stubborn silence; Tenny tells her friend that Yomi is thoughtless. Both couples separately toy with divorce. When Tenny, a regional head, interviews Yomi for a job, she hires him despite his arrogant attitude, and a flirtation sparks. He accepts a ride home, and they fall into an intimate encounter. Afterwards, Tenny offers him money—a gesture that insults Yomi so deeply he storms off. Yomi confesses his feelings to his friend; Tenny's friend scolds her for paying him. He eventually accepts her apology, and they begin dating. Yomi proposes, and they marry. On their honeymoon, Tenny answers a work call, igniting a furious argument. Domestic battles erupt: Tenny demands tidiness, Yomi expects cooking and cleaning. Tension builds as Yomi befriends a jogger named Nancy, prompting his friend to suspect an affair. Tenny discovers the friendship and accuses Yomi of cheating during a confrontation about a male client who touched her hand. Yomi denies the affair but admits he wants to save the marriage. They vow to change—he will be tidier, she will cook his favorite meals—and seek counsel from an older married friend. The mentor advises them to adopt love roles over gender roles. The couple reconciles and hosts a dinner with friends, thanking them for their support. Tenny reveals she is pregnant, and the group celebrates with a toast. The film ends with the couple embracing, their relationship renewed.
