Storyline
Get ready for the movie Headless, a crime thriller from Nigeria that digs deep into bad sides of fame and power. It starts with a producer, played by Gideon Okeke, stopped at a traffic check. Police open his car boot and see a cut-off human head there. Shock! He says he did not kill her, but how did the head get in his car? The story shows he is not all good or bad. Cops question him hard. They find out he is tied to big secrets. A bad guy offers him a choice: go to jail forever or do bad things for money and nice life. He picks the wrong path, maybe. Investigations show links between Nollywood stars, dirty politics, and crime groups. For example, a suspect runs from jail and disappears. The producer gets deep in trouble, maybe killing or helping kill. Uzoamaka Onuoha acts as a strong woman in the mix, with Segun Arinze and Femi Branch as tough guys pushing the plot. Baaj Adebule, Gbubemi Ejeye, and Iremide Adeoye add more layers to the team. Directed by Michael W. Ndiomu, who made other hits like The Origin: Madam Koi-Koi. In the end, the truth comes out: the head belongs to someone he knows, and he is part of a big plan to hide bad deals in movies and government. Fights and chases happen, with Gideon doing stunts himself. The movie ends with big twists, showing no one is safe in this world of lies. Released March 13, 2026, by FilmOne, after showing at AFRIFF 2024. It warns about greed and power. Full of action, like escapes and hard choices. Fans love the real feel of Nigerian life mixed with thriller beats.
