EARLY LIFE

Gideon Okeke, born on July 23, 1983, in Ajegunle, Lagos State, Nigeria, is a celebrated Nigerian actor, model, and TV presenter. Hailing from Anambra State, Gideon was born into a modest family and spent his formative years in Ajegunle, Lagos. He attended Nnamdi Azikiwe University, where he studied Applied Biochemistry. Recognizing his passion for acting, Gideon pursued professional training at the prestigious Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York.

PERSONAL LIFE

Gideon married Chidera Uduezue, the CEO of Catch 22 Model Management, in a traditional ceremony held in December 2018 in Abagana, Anambra State. The couple followed with a white wedding on April 21, 2019. They had two sons: Ezra Okeke, born July 15, 2019 and August Okeke, born July 7, 2021. Gideon also has a daughter from a previous relationship, born in March 2016. In 2022, reports emerged of separation rumors between Gideon and Chidera due to irreconcilable differences. Gideon Okeke first gained public attention as a contestant on the inaugural season of Big Brother Naija in 2006.
