Game For Two

This film called Game for Two shows the problems of trust and money in two couples' marriages. George and Doris fight over hidden cash. At the tailor shop where Emeka works with George, jealousy starts when George flirts with Emeka's girlfriend. During break, George does not share his wife's special meal and pushes Emeka to marry. Emeka refuses, citing his brother's wife who became bad after marriage. At home, Doris gossips about a man who sold properties and ran with his mistress. They condemn it. But George pays the electricity bill that Doris said they could not afford, making her angry about his secret money. Doris later finds George cleared her bank account, leaving only 2,500 naira. She asks him for refund money but he claims to be broke. Emeka tells George how their friend John Bosco's wife refused money for their sick child but paid big for her mother's hospital. Emeka loses faith in women. Emeka and his wife Ekwutos move to the village with his mother. Ekwutos takes from Emeka's stash but he scolds her for soap use. She cooks only for herself. When Emeka's mother is injured by a motorcycle, Ekwutos gives little money. In the end, Ekwutos discovers Emeka took her 3 million naira. Emeka discovers Ekwutos took his hidden money. Their mutual betrayal destroys the marriage while Emeka's mother watches sadly. The film shows how deceit destroys relationships.
