Free Jemimah

The story of Free Jemimah follows two separate lives that crash together. Douglas brings his new wife Jemimah home but his sister Rose is full of hate. She calls Jemimah a local girl and will not let her enter the house. The family elders are also angry because Jemimah grew up in an orphanage with no known background. At the same time, a rich father named Cosmos throws his son Owen out. He is tired of Owen wasting his expensive education on social media videos. Soon after, Douglas dies suddenly in his sleep. The cruel family, led by Rose, sees a chance to destroy Jemimah. They tell everyone she used witchcraft to kill her husband. A large village mob grabs Jemimah. They dress her in black, put shameful palm fronds on her, and cut off her hair in the street while she screams that she is innocent. Owen finds this mob while filming content. He turns his camera on them and threatens to put their faces online. The scared crowd runs away. Owen takes the broken Jemimah to safety. His father Cosmos hears about this and feels true pride for the first time. Owen then gets big news from the doctors. The autopsy report shows Douglas died from a natural heart attack. He was not killed by any magic. Armed with this truth, Cosmos confronts Rose and the family. He tells them they will go to prison if they bother Jemimah again and that she must get her husband's property. Years later, Jemimah is healthy and strong. Her time with Owen has grown into real love. They live together happily, proving that justice and a new start are possible even after deep pain.
