Beautiful Disaster

The film Beautiful Disaster tells how a broken family finds peace again. It starts with Mr. Clifford very angry at Gina, his oldest daughter. She comes home late, drinks and smokes. He shouts that she must obey his rules in his house or leave. Gina fights back and storms out. Sean lives in the house and worries a lot about Gina. He tells his friend James but James says she is just spoiled. Pearl, the little sister, feels totally neglected. Father is always busy with work. Gina is mean and gives no love. When Pearl needs help with her science project, both refuse. Pearl cries hard. Only the housemaid Annie comforts her. Sean sees Pearl sad and helps with the project. They work together and she gets A grade. Happy Pearl tells father "Uncle Sean helped". Mr. Clifford is impressed and hires Sean as private tutor with good pay and full accommodation. Gina now hates Sean being there. Tension grows when Sean catches Gina in his room. He thinks she wants to steal his watch. They argue. Mr. Clifford warns Gina her wild life will lead to ruin or jail. One night Gina comes home sick and collapses in the living room. Sean and Annie panic. They call a private nurse for home treatment to avoid public talk. Gina recovers but Sean now understands her bad behavior hides deep pain. Sean talks bravely to Mr. Clifford. He says Gina needs a real father who cares, not more rules. Since mother died, father only gave money but no emotional support. Mr. Clifford feels sorry. He goes to Gina with red roses, cries and gives sincere apology for not being there and putting work first. Gina breaks down, forgives him and they hug in tears. The movie ends happy. The whole family - Mr. Clifford, Gina, Sean and Pearl - enjoy a family reunion dinner with food, laughs and love. Later Gina thanks Sean deeply. She says he never gave up, saw past her anger and healed their broken family. Now everyone is close again.
