A Hand To Hold

The movie A Hand To Hold tells the story of Gabriel, an aspiring musician who is broke. He uses lies and tricks to get money from three women to support his life and music career. First is Maria, an older hardworking woman who owns a food joint. She supports Gabriel a lot, giving him money and paying his debts. She hopes he will become famous and repay her one day. Second is Salome, a rich woman. She demands luxury and always complains that Gabriel has no car or good house. To keep her happy, Gabriel steals land papers from Maria and shows them to Salome. He lies that the land is his and tells her to sell it so they can buy what she wants. Third is Phina, a young woman he calls Angel. He romances her and makes her believe he is serious and successful. Gabriel also gives business advice to his friend Wisdom, who later becomes successful. But Gabriel's problems start when Phina gets angry after finding out about the other women. She tells him she is pregnant. He refuses to take responsibility. The climax happens when Phina meets Salome. They both turn against Gabriel. Maria then comes and sees the land documents Salome has. She realizes they are hers which Gabriel stole. All the women learn the truth about his deceptions. Gabriel is finally caught and faces their anger. A Hand To Hold is a drama full of betrayal and the consequences of living a fake life.
