Uchenna Nnanna Maduka

EARLY LIFE

Uchenna Nnanna Maduka was born and raised in Arochukwu, Abia State, in the South-East region of Nigeria. She developed a passion for the arts from a young age. She pursued formal training in acting by studying Theatre Arts at the University of Uyo, where she graduated with a degree. Her strong Igbo roots and cultural background have greatly influenced her work in Nollywood.

CAREER

Uchenna Nnanna is a versatile Nollywood actress, producer, and filmmaker. She is known for her dedication to promoting Igbo language and culture through her movies. She has featured in both English and Igbo-language films. Notable works include, Bond of Bondage (2016), The Plot (2018), Our Date for Christmas (2021), Nneka. She has won awards including an AMVCA recognition and multiple other industry awards. Apart from acting, she produces and directs movies under her brand. She runs a successful YouTube channel (UcheNnannaTv) where she shares movies, vlogs, and parenting content. She is also the owner of Elius Rose and other business ventures.

PERSONAL LIFE

Uchenna Nnanna is married to Richard Maduka, a businessman based in Spain. The couple got married on 21 April 2014 in Port Harcourt. Their marriage is considered one of the stable ones in the industry with minimal scandals. They have three children together (two boys and one girl). She often describes her husband as very supportive and keeps a balance between family life and her career. In an interview with The Sun, she expressed concerns that many people are not preparing themselves properly for marriage, emphasizing the need for intentional preparation over societal pressure. She is also a Parent Coach and frequently shares advice on marriage and family on her platforms.
