Praise Eddo

EARLY LIFE

Born Praise Aidevbuome Eddo, she is a native of Sobe town in Edo State and the first of three children. She graduated from Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti, with a degree in Business Administration. She also holds a professional qualification in Radio/TV broadcasting, which she practiced for a while before participating in 'Soundcheck Africa'.

CAREER

Praise Eddo is a Gospel Artiste and the winner of Soundcheck Africa (Season 2) in 2019. She released her single 'My Soul' in 2020 and was working on an album set to be launched before the end of 2020. She is an ordained pastor at Better Things Christian Centre, Lagos. She participated in a competition six years prior to Soundcheck Africa, where Tim Godfrey was one of the judges. She has also appeared in several recent Nollywood productions, including Colours Of Fire, Warlord: Olori Ogun, and Oversabi Aunty.

PERSONAL LIFE

Praise Eddo worships with her family at Better Things Christian Centre, Lagos. She is known for her strong faith and conviction, stating that her steps are ordered by the Spirit of God. She is scared of heights.
