CAREER

JJC Skillz began producing music at age 16. In the early 2000s, he formed the Nigerian hip-hop collective JJC & The 419 Squad in London, which won the KORA All Africa Music Award for Best African Group in 2004. The group released their debut album 'Atide' in 2002. He also released solo albums 'African Dream' in 2011 and 'Skillz' in 2015. In the early 2010s, he transitioned from music to filmmaking, permanently relocating to Nigeria around 2011. He co-directed the blockbuster 'Omo Ghetto: The Saga' (2020) and directed the action thriller 'Hakeem: Seeking Justice' (2025).
