Biography
EARLY LIFE
Wendy Uwadiae Imasuen was born on April 16, 1979 to the late Chief David Osagie Imasuen and late Mrs. Veronica Imariah Imasuen. He graduated from Ambrose Alli University in 2005 with a B.A in Theater and Media Arts, earning the HOD's Award for Best Graduating Student in 2006. While at the University, Wendy attended an outreach program in Directing at the Nigerian Film Institute in Jos.
CAREER
Wendy Uwadiae Imasuen directed his first film, 'JUST A FLASH,' which won an Award in 2006 at the First Nigerian Students Film Festival (NISFFEST). In 2011, he received his master's degree in Theater Arts and Mass Communication from the University of Benin. From 2006 to 2012, he received practical training in filmmaking and production management from his mentor and cousin, Ambassador Lancelot Oduwa Imasuen. He has since become a highly respected producer in the Nigerian Film Industry (Nollywood), working as an Associate Producer, Line Producer, Producer, Production Manager, and Actress on numerous successful films, including 'Everybody Loves Jenifa' (2024), 'Omo Ghetto: The Saga' (2020), and 'Mummy Why' (2016).
