Bobby Rak

EARLY LIFE

Bobby Rak was born on November 21, 1979, in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. He attended College of Education Demonstration Secondary School Ndele (1990–1995) before proceeding to the University of Port Harcourt, where he earned a B.Sc. degree between 1998 and 2002. He is a veteran martial artist and has always been passionate about storytelling and capturing nature through visuals.

CAREER

Bobby Rak founded RAK Entertainment in 2005 in Port Harcourt. He is an independent filmmaker known for telling captivating local stories, particularly through short films and action-oriented projects. He also works as a visual storyteller, cinematographer, and editor. His directorial credits include She Got Served (2022), Debbie’s Door (2021), 3-Dimensions (2017), Bloody Moon (2017), My Own Space (2017).

PERSONAL LIFE

Bobby Rak is married to Philomena. The couple has three children.
