Osu: Properties Of The Gods
Properties of the Gods functions as a visually rich historical and romantic drama that was four years in the making. The narrative serves as a bold, social impact piece that directly confronts one of the most enduring, taboo conversations in Igbo history: the centuries-old Osu caste system.

Storyline
A young, wealthy Nigerian-American couple, completely unaware of the deep complexities of ancient local lineages, returns to Nigeria to build a future and marry. However, their romantic plans collapse into chaos when they discover that their union sits on opposite sides of a rigid, ancient social divide. One is a royal freeborn, while the other is discovered to be of Osu descent—traditionally considered "untouchables" or metaphorical "properties of the gods" consecrated to deities. Their love story quickly spirals into a devastating, life-and-death psychological struggle against systemic prejudice, deep family betrayal, and stubborn traditional taboos that threaten to permanently tear their families apart.
