Storyline
"More Than Flatmates" dives into the chaotic romance of Maddy, weary of non-spending mainland boys, who hunts for Lekki sugar daddies to bankroll her glam life. Squatting with pal Shola in Lagos mainland, she snags a Lekki pad but must co-rent with Jesse, a slick yahoo boy scammer. Their flat-sharing erupts in noise wars, Maddy blasts tunes to spite Jesse's refusal to quiet down, turning them into bitter foes. Jesse's buddy Marvin crushes hard on Maddy, but she shuts him down cold. When cash-strapped Jesse was offered a surprise meal by Maddy, this offering flips the script; he reciprocates with food and a jog invite (she balks at the budding vibe). As Jesse catches feelings, Maddy's late-night "hustle" with clients ends in a brutal attack near their estate. Jesse swoops in to save her, tenderly nursing wounds. A flirty Shock hits when friends spill: Shola once fancied Jesse during their feud, and Marvin's rejection fuels a brutal fistfight with Jesse.
