Storyline
Mama sits with her daughter Janet and granddaughter Michelle. In Mama The Feminist, she pounds a hammer and smashes a mirror. She delivers a furious speech about how all men, especially Michelle's late grandfather, are scum who destroy women's hearts. Michelle is tired of the repeated lectures and tries to leave. Mama insists on her worldview. Later, Mama criticizes her other granddaughter Chinenyenwa for dressing provocatively. Janet arrives late and gets scolded. Meanwhile, Michelle meets Charles, a man she has liked since secondary school. They begin dating despite Mama's suspicious warnings. Mama and Janet catch Michelle with Charles and angrily drive him away. Mama hurls insults and threatens him. Michelle defends Charles. Mama warns her about the signs of heartbreakers and insists that no man is trustworthy. Then Michelle's estranged father, Patrick, suddenly appears. He wants to reconnect with Michelle. Janet and Mama reject him. Charles and Michelle continue their relationship. After a month, Charles proposes. Michelle accepts, and they marry. Mama and Janet move in with the couple. They soon interfere in the marriage, telling Michelle to refuse household duties, demand 50/50 chores, and treat Charles with suspicion. Michelle follows their advice and becomes cold and accusatory. She threatens to report Charles for assault and accuses him of infidelity. Charles is left confused and hurt. Patrick meets Charles outside and reveals evidence that Mama set him up years ago. She framed Patrick for infidelity and returned his financial support, all to test his loyalty. Charles brings the evidence to Janet and Michelle. It proves that Mama's lies destroyed Janet's marriage. Janet confronts Mama, and Mama finally confesses to the deception. Patrick forgives Mama and reunites with Janet. Michelle reconciles with Charles and comes to understand the truth. The family goes to therapy and works to heal.
