Love Denied

In Love Denied, Stella works as a maid in Frank and Helen's household, and her daughter Eva works beside her. Helen and her daughter Gold treat them like servants. When Stella falls ill, Eva takes over the cooking and cleaning, and Gold torments her and forces her to scrub a spilled drink off the floor. Frank shows Eva kindness, insists she attend school, and drops her off in his car, which makes Gold jealous. Gold and her friends bully Eva at school, but Steve defends Eva and praises her intelligence. Gold confronts Steve, and he breaks off their relationship. The tension between Gold and Eva flares into a violent fight outside the house, and Gold ends up seriously injured and bleeding. At the hospital, Gold's life is saved when Eva, a universal blood donor, gives her a transfusion. The doctors discover that Frank's and Helen's blood types are incompatible with Gold's, so a DNA test confirms Gold is not Frank's biological daughter. Frank confronts Helen and reveals that Eva is his biological daughter from a past relationship with Stella. Helen had deceived him into marrying her by claiming another man's pregnancy. Eva learns that Stella knew about her father all along and deliberately stayed in the household to secure Eva's inheritance, and Eva feels betrayed. Frank apologizes to Eva and proposes to Stella, but Stella refuses and says she will not become an option just because the truth has emerged. Gold, devastated to discover Frank is not her real father, attempts suicide. Eva visits Gold in the hospital, and she urges Gold to stop living in bitterness because they can share their father and live as sisters. Gold accepts Eva's offer and reconciles with Eva. Frank arranges for Stella to receive a new home, a monthly allowance, and hired help. Gold agrees to attend therapy and continue living as Frank's daughter. Frank cheerfully drives both Eva and Gold for ice cream.
