Everything We Built

The story in the movie Everything We Built starts in flashback. Young Uzor flees a violent mob and gets hurt. Tonye stays with him and they get beaten. Tonye says they are brothers by pact not blood. Today Tonye and Uzor are rich. At Uzor's party Tonye toasts to their bond. He lives with Bisi and daughter Dobra. But they make money from cyber fraud scams. Tonye wants to stop and leave the country with his family for a safe life. Bisi thinks about it. Uzor wants to keep the luxury and they agree on one last job. Flashbacks show poor days. Uzor loved Bisi but she picked Tonye. Uzor hid his pain for loyalty. The boss offers Tonye big job but he refuses to retire. Uzor plans to cut him from the cash. Tonye proposes to Bisi. She accepts. He leaves early with her and Dobra. Uzor confronts angry. Then truth: Dobra is Uzor's daughter from affair with Bisi. Tonye knew and raised her as father. Uzor rages Tonye took his child and woman. Tonye gives old watch of broken bond. They flee but Uzor's thugs stop them at checkpoint. Uzor points gun at Tonye screaming betrayal. Tonye says he built the empire. Bisi begs. Gunshot sounds and screen blacks out. Fate unknown.
