Martha Ehinome

An outstanding actress and filmmaker, born and raised in Oyo state but originally from Edo state Nigeria, currently 29 years old, Martha Ehinome bagged her degree in theater Art from the university of Ibadan, she has been nominated for two best Nollywood awards, her role in the TV series "wura" has made her so popular, she has featured in so many Nigeria movies some of which are " the Herbert Macaulay affair, the origin: madam koi-koi.

CAREER

Martha Ehinome’s journey into the world of acting began during her school years. She actively participated in stage productions, honing her skills in voice modulation and character portrayal. Her screen debut came in 2019 with a supporting role as Caroline Pratt in the historical biopic The Herbert Macaulay Affair. This film marked her entry into Nollywood, introducing her to a broader audience. Following her debut, Martha quickly gained recognition for her ability to embody diverse characters. She appeared as Esanjumi in Africa Magic’s telenovela Riona, showcasing her versatility. Her breakthrough moment arrived with the critically acclaimed film Dear Bayo, which earned her two nominations at the Best of Nollywood (BON) Awards. Martha’s performance as Tumininu “Tumi” Kuti in the Showmax original series Wura (2023–2025) solidified her status as a rising star in the industry. EARLY LIFE

Martha Ehinome was born on July 4, 1996, in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria. Although her parents hail from Edo State, she was raised in a Yoruba-speaking environment. She is the sixth child of her father and fifth of her mother. Martha attended Bodija International College for her primary education and Command Day Secondary School for her secondary education. She pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre Arts at the University of Ibadan, majoring in Acting and Speech.

PERSONAL LIFE

As of 2025, Martha Ehinome is single and does not have a husband. She resides in Lagos, Nigeria, where she continues to pursue her career in the entertainment industry. Despite her busy schedule, she enjoys photography, singing, and exploring new places.
