Campus Chronicles S1E8 opens with pure horror: at Kevwe’s mansion party, drugged Kevwe locks Amirah in a bedroom and forcefully tries to rape her in her sequined gown. She screams he’s hurting her; he suddenly snaps out of the trance, realises what he almost did, and collapses in shock as Amirah flees barefoot into the night, calling Jonathan (Wiser) for rescue. Next morning, Solomon and crew admit they spiked Kevwe’s drink with aphrodisiac to “make him a lion” and claim Amirah.” Kevwe is livid. Princess’s poison works: she convinces Bella and Soma that Amirah trashtalks them and steals Jonathan, fracturing the girls. Godfather Solomon Danke (Solomon’s father) hands Kevwe a gun and orders him to kill rival gubernatorial candidate Honorable Douglas before month-end. Flashback bombshell: Lydia (Kevwe’s mother) once told young Jonathan his father was “dead” while pointing at Douglas in a passing car revealing Jonathan is also Douglas’s secret illegitimate son. Lydia visits Kevwe to warn him Solomon is dangerous; Kevwe, bitter, throws her out. Princess’s lies collapse when Bella’s mother (also Lydia?) storms in, exposing the manipulation. Girls kick Princess out and reconcile with tearful Amirah. The squad holds a healing picnic, but Kevwe’s phone buzzes: “Plans have changed. We hit him tonight.” The assassination is on.
