A Temporary Driver

David, the CEO of Empire Tech, has not driven since a car accident left him with trauma, so he depends on a trusted driver. When that driver elopes with his wristwatch and money, David turns to a friend and ends up in a taxi driven by Anna, a hardworking woman supporting a sick mother and siblings. The first ride is tense, but after David behaves rudely they both apologize. Impressed by her punctuality and professionalism, David offers Anna a temporary job as his personal driver. In A Temporary Driver, Anna helps him win a major presentation, and David later makes her HR manager at Empire Tech. David's girlfriend, Mira, grows suspicious and corners Anna, offering one million naira to quit and stay away from David. Anna rejects the bribe, and Mira threatens her. Anna's friend Ifeyinwa warns her about Mira's possessiveness, but Anna keeps working. When David gives Anna $20,000 to exchange and deliver to his site engineer, she vanishes without a trace. David and Ifeyinwa search for her, and Ifeyinwa reveals Mira's earlier threat. David confronts Mira, but she denies involvement. Meanwhile, Mira has kidnapped Anna and holds her at an abandoned site, demanding the money and ordering her men to kill her. David traces the location and arrives with the police, rescuing Anna and having Mira arrested. Months later, Anna thanks David for a better apartment, cleared debts, her mother's treatment, a new business, and a salary increase. David tells Anna he sees her as a sister and is proud of her hard work, and he reveals that he has finally overcome his driving trauma and can drive again. David tells Anna they will move forward as close friends, and the two share a friendly toast.
