EARLY LIFE

Somtochukwu Chidubem Eze, popularly known as Somto Eze, was born on 4 October in the 1990s in Nigeria. He is a native of Umuigwaa, Okunino in Udi Local Government Area of Enugu State. He comes from a Christian family of seven, being the third child of five. His parents are Mr. Peter Okey Eze and Mrs. Nnedinma Eze. His siblings include elder sister Chidiogo Eze, sister Munachi Eze, and brother Ebube Eze. He had an elder brother, Rapuluchukwu 'Rapu' Eze, who passed away. Somto has spoken about his family’s influence and the impact of losing a sibling. He attended Federal Government College Enugu for secondary education. He later studied Chemical Engineering at Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) and completed training at Ebony Life Creative Academy in January 2023.
