EARLY LIFE
Saheed Balogun was born on 5 February, Enugu State, South-East Nigeria, but hails from Oyo State, Nigeria. He received his primary, secondary, and tertiary education in Oyo State. He graduated from Kwara State Polytechnic.

Saheed Balogun was initially married to a Nollywood actress, Fathia Balogun but they separated and divorced. He is remarried and has four children.
CAREER
Saheed Balogun is a Nigerian actor, filmmaker, director, producer, musician, events anchor, and master of ceremony. He has been active in his career since 1978, starting with his first television program titled "Youth Today" on the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA). He produced his first film, City Girl, in 1989, and had previously been involved in feature producing and directing several Nigerian films. He is known for directing and producing the first 2-cast film in Africa, Modupe Temi, and the first 3-cast film in West Africa, Gbogbo Ere. He also produced the first ever ankara movie in Africa, Third Party. His notable roles include Tola in Atlanta (2004), Fred in Òfin mósè (2006), Yemi in Tomo tiya (2008), Doctor in Rogbodiyan (2017), Kay in Light In The Dark (2019), Kasali in Don't Get Mad Get Even (2019).
