EARLY LIFE

Born and raised in Kenya, Davina Leonard made her professional stage debut at just 17 as Lady Macbeth for the Phoenix Players in Nairobi. She later studied Acting for Classical & Contemporary Text at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.

CAREER

Davina Leonard has worked across the entertainment industry as an actor, scriptwriter, producer, and teacher, with experience in the UK, Kenya, Australia, Dubai, and South Africa. She performed her one-woman comedy 'MAKING It!' at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2014, Camden Festival, and on a Nairobi tour. She was involved in Silvia Cassini’s 'A MAN LIKE YOU' and has toured the award-winning one-person show 'Every Brilliant Thing' around Kenya. She also played 'Elizabeth North' in the original Kenyan tour of 'A Man Like You' in 2014 and is currently writing and producing a fictional drama series about poaching. Davina is passionate about developing cutting-edge drama in Kenya.
