Biography
EARLY LIFE
Bob-Manuel Obidimma Udokwu was born on April 18, 1967, in Nkwelle-Ogidi, Anambra State, Nigeria, to parents Geoffrey Nwafor Udokwu and Ezelagbo Udokwu. He attended St. Peters Primary School (now Hillside Primary School) in Coal Camp, Enugu, for his early education, followed by secondary schooling at Oraukwu Grammar School in Oraukwu, Anambra State. Udokwu later earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre Arts from the University of Port Harcourt and a Master's degree in Political Science, specializing in International Relations, from the University of Lagos.
PERSONAL LIFE
Udokwu is a practicing Christian. He married Cassandra Joseph on February 19, 2000, after meeting her while pursuing his master's degree at the University of Lagos, where she was an undergraduate student. The couple has two children: Elyon Chinaza and Marcus Garvey. In 2022, he was appointed by Governor Charles Soludo of Anambra State as a special adviser on entertainment, tourism, and media.

Udokwu is a prominent Nigerian actor, director, producer, and politician. During his university years, he served as President of the Nigeria University Theater Arts Student Association from 1989 to 1990. He gained widespread recognition in Nollywood with roles such as Mike in Living in Bondage (1992) and its sequel (1993), Pastor Evarist in Karishika (1998), Alex in Most Wanted 1&2 (1998), Prince Chidi in Tokunboh (1999), Steve in Risky Affair (2004), Bill in Games Women Play (2005), Kelvia in The Key for Happiness (2007), Peter in A Time to Love (2007), Harrison in Cover Up (2007), a role in Adesuwa (2012) for which he was nominated for Best Actor in a Supporting Role at the 2013 Nollywood Movies Awards, Mike in Living in Bondage: Breaking Free (2019), King in Ugly Bird (2024), and Lieutenant Dokunbo in Hijack '93 (2024).
For the past five years, Udokwu has been primarily based in Anambra State, focusing on his political role while maintaining involvement in Nollywood.
