EARLY LIFE
Ayo Adeagbo was born and bred in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital. His maternal grandfather was Professor Toriola Oyewo, who was Nigeria's oldest lawyer to be awarded the prestigious rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) at 91. His father is a man of God, and his mother, Adekiitan, is a celebrated broadcaster. He is a graduate of the University of Ibadan.
CAREER
Ayo Adeagbo became the official photographer to then-speaker Femi Gbajabiamila at the age of 25 in 2019. He also served as a documentary photographer to former speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Olusegun Adeyemo, and later as an assistant chief photographer to former governor Abiola Ajimobi. In 2021, his photo-book titled 'Gbajabiamila; The Long Road' was launched. In November 2023, he was appointed by President Bola Tinubu as his assistant on arts, culture, and creative economy, working with the Minister of Arts and Culture, Hannatu Musawa.
