Austin Nwaolie is a prominent Nollywood filmmaker, director, and cinematographer based in Lagos, Nigeria. With well over a decade of experience in the Nigerian film industry, he transitioned from a successful career behind the camera as a cinematographer into a certified director. He is also the Chief Executive Officer of Austin Nwaolie Concept. Throughout his career, Nwaolie has directed and contributed to numerous high-profile movies and television series, collaborating with prominent Nollywood icons like Desmond Elliot and Sandra Agbodi. His work is frequently featured on major streaming platforms and TV networks, including Africa Magic Showcase, ROK, and YouTube. His notable works include Where Is Jude (2023), Better off Single (2025), Imposter (2021), The Diary of A Crazy Nigerian Woman (2017), New Girl (2024), Babies & Friends (2020), Stronger Together (2018), Finding Mercy (2013), Emem And Angie (2017), and Unpacking the Past (2023).

He completed his higher education at the University of Calabar before moving into full-time film production.
