The Blue Caftan

In one of Morocco's oldest medinas, a middle-aged married couple, Halim and Mina, run a boutique shop crafting custom, hand-sewn traditional caftans. To survive in a society that criminalizes homosexuality, the couple has safely guarded the deep secret of Halim's attraction to men. However, their quiet life is turned upside down by two concurrent shifts: Mina's health begins a terminal decline, and they hire a handsome, talented young apprentice named Youssef to keep up with demanding clients. As an unspoken, intimate bond develops between the master tailor and his protégé, a complex, deeply touching emotional triangle forms—ultimately evolving into a profound story of unconditional love, acceptance, and devotion.
