Same Difference

In "Same Difference", Ada is a strong woman with a good job, but her mom wants her married soon. Her sisters Nenye and Daisy joke about her being alone and give her a sex toy as a gift, saying she needs to have fun. They push her to date their friend Gideon, a handsome rich guy. Ada says yes and goes on a date. Gideon is nice, buys her things like a bracelet, and makes her family happy too. Even Ada's tough mom likes him when she visits. Ada falls in love fast. Gideon stays at her house, shares sad stories from his past, and asks for money because his business has problems. Ada trusts him and sends a lot of cash. But then Gideon disappears. His phone doesn't work, his house is empty, and Ada's bank calls about 150 million Naira gone from her work account. Ada tells her sisters the bad news at home. They cry and get scared. But Ada stops pretending to be sad. She shows a strong face and says she knew Gideon was a fake all along. He is a scammer who tricks women for money. Ada hired someone to check on him and found out the truth. She acted like she loved him to catch him. In a flashback, Ada goes to his house at night while he packs to run. She tells him the police are outside. She gets her money back and takes his fancy things like Gucci bags. Ada wins the game he started. Her sisters are happy but scared of how smart and tough she is. The movie ends with Ada on top, showing not to mess with her.
