Nwa Mummy

Obi becomes wealthy and moves his mother, Mama Obi, and siblings, Ogbannu and Onyi, into a grand house. The family initially celebrates, but Mama and the siblings fear Obi's marriage will cut off their financial support. They sabotage his relationship with Jola via crude behavior at dinner, then manipulate Obi for money through lies about illnesses and debts. Mama introduces Melody as a 'trial wife,' really a servant. Melody is humiliated by Mama and Onyi. Obi tries to educate Melody, but the toxic environment persists. Mama and Onyi frame Melody for stealing Obi's luxury watches. Believing them, Obi kicks her out despite her innocence. Later, he discovers Melody lied about her past, feeling betrayed. The household spirals into dysfunction. During an explosive confrontation, the family's history of fraud and emotional abuse is exposed. The film ends with Mama having an emotional breakdown and a tearful, tentative reconciliation with her children and Jola, all within the story of 'NWA MUMMY'.
